The Museum of Broadcasting Communications in Chicago is going to be hosting an awesome event coming up in September... A Night with Larry King! On Friday, September 19th at 7pm, Charley Steiner, the "Voice of the LA Dodgers" and Radio Hall of Fame member, will be be hosting this unique event and emceeing the evening.

On August 7th, the Chicago Fire Soccer Club is hosting the fourth annual White Party at the MCA Warehouse. Named one of the Chicago Tribune’s top parties of 2013, this marquee event will feature a premium open bar, food from top Chicago restaurants including Rockit Bar & Grill, a live DJ, appearances by Chicago Fire players and more! Guests are encouraged to dress in their best white attire and get ready for a unique event that they surely won’t forget.

You’ll find all three when current and former Cubs players take to the runway for the first Strike a Pose celebrity fashion show to benefit the David DeJesus Family Foundation on Thursday, January 17th at the River East Art Center. Kim and David DeJesus will co-chair the event and all funds raised will benefit ALS research, patient care and family support for those afflicted by the disease, a cause near to their hearts.

I’ve always been a natural hostess, someone who jumps at any and every chance to entertain my family and friends. A home in Chicago that supports more than six hundred children and adults with developmental disabilities. Hundreds of Misericordia residents spend their time during the year creating works of art on canvasses, ceramics, wood, glass and jewelry, never allowing their disability to get in the way of their creativity. As a result the 15th annual "Artist In All" event will take place Wednesday, May 23rd in the Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago.

The CANstruction A-CAN-emy Awards & Gala was last night at Merchandise Mart and it was such a fun event! I attended and wanted you to give you readers a behind the scenes experience… so click away! As you know from our previous entry, CANstruction is a unique charity event that raises donations for the Greater Chicago Food Depository by having teams build amazing creations out of cans and other food items. It is the largest donation of food in a single food drive in the city of Chicago – pretty impressive!
