Just after dusk this Friday, October 16th, follow the illuminated silhouette of four figures flying through the sky. They’re off to Neverland and you can go, too!

Enter the majestic Moonlight Studios in the West Loop for the 2nd Annual UNICEF Masquerade Ball Chicago. You’ll get to sample appetizers from the best Chicago restaurants, dance to DJ Ruckus with members of UNICEF Next Generation, get masked by our face painters, strike a pose in the Fotio photo booth and take the Water Walk Challenge.

The UNICEF Masquerade Ball is hosted by UNICEF Next Generation (NextGen), a group of emerging leaders in their 20s and 30s who are committed to doing whatever it takes to save children’s lives. NextGen members commit their resources, resolve and enthusiasm toward supporting UNICEF’s lifesaving work. The UNICEF Masquerade Ball Chicago is an incredible evening that will raise funds for UNICEF’s programs, including global child protection programs and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s End Trafficking project. These important initiatives support UNICEF’s work to protect children from violence, exploitation and abuse globally, and efforts in the United States to raise critical awareness and mobilize communities to take action on the issue of human trafficking locally and globally. No matter the location or situation, UNICEF puts children first.

Plus, the Ball is a Zero Waste Initiative! By partnering with vendors and sponsors to ensure all distributed materials and products are locally recyclable, compostable or reusable, we can raise support for the world’s children in a sustainable way.

We hope to see you there, but if you can’t make this year, you can contribute or consider becoming a member of the Chicago NextGen chapter.
