Flowers for Dreams teams up with One Tail at a Time

When we got the news that Flowers for Dreams chose One Tail at a Time as their February charity of the month, we were ecstatic! What better way to spread the love than with gorgeous flowers that benefit rescue dogs?

At One Tail at a Time, we spend our days in Chicago animal shelters, working with our foster homes and spending time in our community to keep pets out of shelters. We don’t always have time to focus on fundraising, which is such a crucial part of maintaining our group. So when we are able to partner up with local businesses with similar outlooks on community and giving back, it’s so exciting.

Flowers for Dreams has a really great business model. For each bouquet they sell, they donate a portion to a charity. This isn’t just a gimmick for them, it’s their entire way of doing business. We love that new businesses are seeing innovation in giving back, and that models such as this are gaining traction. There is a way to be successful and create a successful business while staying community minded, and Flowers for Dreams has totally mastered that.

The promotion is easy. Purchase a bouquet in February and Flowers for Dreams will donate a portion to One Tail at a Time. They craft the bouquets here in Chicago, provide free local delivery (usually on bicycle!) and have a huge delivery zone in the Chicagoland area. The bouquets are gorgeous and economical.
