Hey Chicago ladies! This Billy Dec’s intern Lauren Hurt again, here to let you know about another great fashion event coming your way! Cece & Melinda with Raymi Productions will be hosting this fun day at The Drake Hotel on Sunday, July 28th at 11:00 AM. This afternoon will be a fabulous excuse to get out of the heat and into this luxurious locale for a day of shopping and spa services. The event will bring together dozens of designers and boutiques from all over Chicago to give you a shopping experience like no other. You and all your friends will be able to browse through carefully handpicked collections of jewelry, makeup, handbags, skincare, and aromatherapy from wonderful Chicagoland boutiques.

I was so inspired by her strength and positive attitude that I wanted to give back to our inspiring Chicagoland community. Sita Ram began in 2002 when Krithika Rajagopalan of Natya Dance Company commissioned founding ensemble member of the Lookingglass Theatre Company, David Kresnar, and Grammy-nominated composer, Jai Uttal, to create a world musical that encompassed Chicago’s rich diversity and culture. The first show premiered in 2006 and was a great success. The Hindu epic, Ramayana, is the basis for Sita Ram as it fuses together the past, present & future – all themes that are as relevant today as they were 3,000 years ago when Ramayana was first written.

Burberry asked me a few months ago to participate in a movement called "Art of the Trench" - they explained it as a living document of the trench coat and the people who wear it. The project is a collaboration between Burberry, fans of the brand and the world's leading image makers.
