I have been getting a ton of requests to share some pics from my crazy weekend… the obama visit, peeps from transformers, backstage lady gaga, soundgarden dinner at sunda, hosting “rock the vote” event, lollapalooza, celeb gifting suites, me sucking at rockstar kickball, my dance lessons, bananas… hopefully it all speaks for itself as I am running to catch a plane to Africa!
Speaking of, if you aren’t following me on facebook & twitter you are seriously missing out on all the sharing I do- and will miss out as I go great white shark diving, go on safari, eat like crazy, hit the winelands,… throughout south Africa & Namibia over the next 11days! No matter who you are or what you may stand for, being a guest at a relatively small event with the president of the united states of America, is an amazing experience that you will never forget. As you can see from this video, I have had the honor of hosting such an event in the past, and I have to say, to this day, people still thank me for inviting them to be a part of it all… so I thought I would share the opportunity once again…

Just a simple shout out to all of our presidents- and our very own in office now from chicago- here’s a video of the last time we were in chicago together- driving up with secret service w/ just the two of them I share the stage with in front of masses of amazing fellow Chicagoans is something I will never ever forget… enjoy!

As you can see on twitter I can’t stay in one spot in copenhagen! (click here to follow me on twitter) while running around town soaking up the culture & olympic enthusiasm, I ran into this huge crowd all lining the streets just to see our fellow chicagoan president obama just drive off after making his pitch (which rocked by the way!) to the international olympic committee… not just locals either… people from every where around the world… even from our host city competitors Madrid, tokyo & rio… It was so nice to see all the love that people from around the globe wanted to share with our leader!
You will also see randomly that people were staring at me apparently for my official blue chicago 2016 olympic jacket…they seem to love chicagoans… it took me forever to realize press was waiting in line to interview me too- as you will see- omg, was not expecting that! Anyway, off to our official viewing party- will be crazy- will try to post video again soon so check me out here later… but in all reality & seriousness… if you want to really see what is going on… you got to get my pictures & comments streaming from me on twitter… just click here and it will be like you are right here in the middle of it all with me!!!!!!

Keep following me on twitter (click here to follow) as I make my way through Russia, then sweden, ending in copenhagen to meet mrs. obama & my fellow chicago 2016 olympic committee members for the official 2016 olympic host announcement on oct 2nd where i am sure chicago, and the U.S. in general, will win! especially if everyone helps now…

Yesterday I started as a guest on Mancow / wls 890am … listening to him scream at me & everyone else angry-faced about obama, david carradine, patty blagojevich and all kinds of crazy stuff… while I’m there to talk about how rockit won “best burger” in the country… (so random right?)… totally live, syndicated, I’m sure with a bajillion people listening… just wondering, what the heck am I doing here?
Then I get out only to go to my gig at harpo studios to be a special guest on oprah xm radio (click here to listen!) sitting in a quiet calm recording studio w/ dr. laura berman talking sex, dating, relationships, love,… also w/a bajillion listeners from all over the country… only this time w/ more love interested women listening than angry opinionated men… again wondering, what the heck am I doing here?
Unfortunately I didn’t come up w/ any answers… but I thanked god that he let me be there to experience it all… and that I live in a community w/ some of the greatest entertainers in the world w/ different backgrounds, talents, positions, character,… that the world listens to out of straight respect, interest and intrigue… and just pray that I only get to be a part of that craziness more and more in the future!
