Attention, animal lovers! If you’re anything like me, you probably experience a little bit of guilt or sadness over leaving your pet at home while you go enjoy a nice dinner or attend an event in the city. I’ve got good news for you! PAWS Chicago, the city’s largest No Kill humane organization is throwing their 11th Annual Fur Ball on November 15th. So, what does that mean for you and your furry friends? You're all invited!

The holidays are always a time for giving back to those in need. Food pantries receive some of their highest donations of the year, toy & coat drives are abundant and bell ringers for the Salvation Army are outside of almost every store. But there’s one important group that tends to be left out of the conversation and they’re some of our best friends…our pets! If people are in need, chances are their pets need some help too.

Calling All Pet Lovers & Parade Goers!

Summer is actually here...and I think it's here to stay! The weather for this Saturday is looking great! So far…it’s looking like it’ll be warm, sunny and in the 80’s, a perfect day to come to Elmhurst’s 24th Annual Pet Parade! An event put on by the Spring Road Business Association and the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce, this is one fun family filled event that you want to come to!

Pints, Pooches & Parties; Oh Mayfest!

I love the city of Chicago! No, really I do. Especially in the summer time! There’s always something going on, right? Well, if you didn’t know that and find yourself bored on the weekends you can look forward to festival season. It’s quickly approaching and the city and burbs (yes, I know it’s suburbs) offer a variety of activities during the warm months. From the middle of May till the end of September, you can catch something every weekend.
