An Epic Event: Chicago’s Madhatter’s Ball

Circus performers, magicians, and DJs, oh my! On June 30^th, the most exciting spectacle in Chicago will take place at The Riverfront Theater under a 70-foot tent, and you should be there to experience it! The Lookingglass Theatre Junior Board’s signature fundraiser, The Madhatter’s Ball, is coming to River West on an epic scale.

Join 800 of Chicago’s most talented and socially committed young professionals decked out in their most outrageous hats and creative costumes and as they enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, dancing, circus performances, and much more, all while supporting a phenomenal cause. In addition to being one of the hottest parties of the summer, The Madhatter’s Ball serves as a fundraiser for the theatre. Proceeds from this event support the operation, expansion and outreach of Lookingglass’ Education and Community programs, which encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence for thousands of community members each year. What’s not to love about that – having a great time while supporting a worthy cause!

The Lookingglass Theatre Junior Board members have been working hard to plan the best Madhatter’s Ball yet, and hope you will be there to experience this one-of-a-kind event, and support the kids who benefit from Lookingglass’ programming. Over the past eleven years, our junior board has grown to become one of the most influential associate boards in Chicago. Since its founding, the group has raised more than half a million dollars through special events and individual donations. With over 30 members from various professions, it represents the diversity, energy and enthusiasm that has shepherded Lookingglass to become one of the nation’s premier theatre companies.

Tickets to the event are $75 for regular and $125 for VIP. The VIP reception starts at 8pm followed by the Ball at 9pm. If you want to keep the party going – which I’m sure you will – Lumen is hosting us for an after party at midnight. Be sure to get your tickets while they are available for this terrific event that supports an even better cause.
