    Hey Billy,

First off, I went to the CIFF for the first time last year, and it was a great experience that all Chicagoans should take advantage of. The access to everyone from Hollywood’s elite to up and coming international film makers makes this one of the most exciting few weeks every year in Chicago.

This year I’m definitely looking forward to “Antichrist.” I recently saw the preview and goog go does it look terrifying. But in a good way. Lars Von Trier is a master at making the audience feel as uncomfortable as possible.
I deffinitely am going to try to check this film out, but If you have any extra tickets to this one that you can spare, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Billy,
    Mike Russell

I am undoubtedly IN LOVE with Chicago and the ENDLESS list of things/activities/places/attractions/people it has to offer! Being an actor with unparalleled respect for the medium, I must say that I am sooo STOKED for the Chicago Film Festival!!! I love the way such an INCREDIBLE Art form is manifested into a visual explanation for our mind’s infinite inquisitions!!! The Talent, the EXPRESSION, THE PASSION all perfectly compacted into a film custom tailored with exquisite detail JUST for our liking! (*Sigh) LOL!! Unfortunately having missed Uma Thurman’s “Motherhood”, I am particularly excited to see “Precious:”. I have been anxiously buzzing around reading all that I can about the film while living vicariously through only what my mind can fathom…! (*Sad Face) 8-(

    BILLY!!!

I’ve never been to the Chicago International Film Festival but I’ve always heard how amazing it is! I’m actually in a class right now where we are talking about international films & it just makes me want to go more!! Everyone always says that you need to go at least once..& I’m REALLY hoping this can be my opportunity! There really is no film in particular that I want to see, but I’d definitely love to get at as many as I can!

I’d like to see just about anything!

I haven’t been to a film festival since college (when I was studying film/television) and would love to see some quality independent movies…

I love film festivals and after living in chicago for 6 years I’m quite shocked at myself for not even once going to the festival!

I’d love to see Antichrist or An Education if possible.

    Hey achicagothing.com,

I am a student who has a FULLLLLY packed class schedule! Being a ‘THEATER MAJOR’ I’ve ALWAYS wanted to attend this event, but school and work have ALWAYS stopped me! Just recently I’ve been blessed enough to have everything positively change around for me and I want to experience all that the INCREDIBLE World Famous land of Chicago has to offer! I’ve practically lived vicariously through others with these trademark Chicago experiences, but this time I finally can experience it for MYSELF! There are four movies that I am dying to see (Anti-Christ, Mississippi Demand, Precious, and The Maid). Words literally cannot begin to describe my EXCITEMENT!!!!! OMG!! I just realized I’m soo anxious/nervous that I’m fidgeting..Lol!!! 😎

I want to see anything except the few that I have on a list called “what not to see at the film fest.” I will not name them and there are many more on my “movies that don’t suck” list. I just need tix. xoxo

Wow, there are so many movies to pick from. As a film enthusiast (and a grad of the NY Film Academy) there are so many that I’d want to see!

In particular, “My Neighbor My Killer” seems fascinating. Chicago Overcoat…let’s just say Armand Assante NEEDS a comeback and it looks good! No Hard Feelings is a period piece that has promise, and the House of the Devil seems like good old fashioned ’80s horror fun!

So yeah…lots of great movies to see!
