Yep, drop trou. You read that right. You’re invited to attend the no pants party in Wrigleyville this Saturday. As if that doesn’t already make you want to clear out your weekend plans, you should know that this “party” is actually a run to raise money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. It’s known globally as “Cupid’s Undie Run.” The name pretty much says it all. Runners come out to support the organization in need, while stripping down to their undies for a mile run.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation is the world’s largest non-government organization that spearheads research for finding a cure for Neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a genetic disorder in which tumors begin to appear and grow along certain nerves in the body. The growth of these tumors can result in deafness, thinning of bones and severe chronic pain, among many other symptoms.

If you feel ready to run or just want to get out and support this cause, do what you can to make it! The Children’s Tumor Foundation receives 100% of the profits raised through Cupid’s Undie Run. The run here in Chicago takes place in Wrigleyville, with festivities beginning at 12pm at Houndstooth Saloon. You can either run solo or get a team together to generate donations. So set aside your best pair of undies and get ready to run your buns off!
