Illinois St. The new Green Ribbon Foundation in Illinois is the catalyst for connections and change, the tie between concept and practice that inspires entrepreneurial businesses to think, initiate and act sustainably.

Through education, consulting and funding sustainable projects in the Chicago area, Green Ribbon Foundation inspires new business leaders to embark on green initiatives, and provides encouragement and accountability to reach realistic sustainability goals. The eco-friendly evening showcases those businesses to illustrate that sustainability is fun and sexy – while spotlighting the importance of green commerce to Chicago’s economic health and vitality.

Dance to DJ Special K, sip green cocktails and sample foods made with locally-sourced ingredients, get easy lifestyle ideas and find out which businesses are making a sustainable difference in our area. The evening includes an eco-friendly fashion show, featuring designs and accessories from sustainably-minded designers and brands such as Allison Parris, Sararose and H.M. Organics by Heather Murphy, among others.
