Lace up your shoes & pump up those tires – Get ready to roll!

Pull the jogging stroller out of the back of your closet, wipe the baby spit off your exercise clothes, pack some snacks for the kids and let’s run! Come join fellow Chicagoans and Neighborhood Parents Network (NPN) on October 28^th for the Strollers in Front 5K Walk & Run at Montrose Harbor.

Finally, a race that doesn’t stick you in the back just because you have kids! Instead, we’re celebrating healthy families with a family-friendly 5K Walk & Run, Kids Dash and a truly spooky-free, Halloween-themed family festival. It’s the first 5K designed especially for you. The Strollers in Front 5K boasts portapotties big enough for a parent and kid to fit in together, nursing stations and even a diaper changing station. Plus, there will be loads of fun activities to keep your kids entertained.

One hundred percent of your fundraising efforts, and a portion of the event net proceeds, will benefit NPN. NPN connects families from all over Chicago with the resources they need to navigate parenting in the city. Giving parents everything they need in the city since 1980!

Melissa from MIX 101.9’s Eric and Kathy show will be there with her son to emcee the event. We’ll also be joined by these great local businesses: Time Out Chicago Kids, CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association), Urba Baby, Growing Smiles, Little Beans Café and Universal Sole.
