Register TODAY for the Fourth Annual BTN Big 10K!

Calling all Big Ten fans! Registration is officially open for the BTN Big 10K, the summer race that turns the Chicago lakefront into a Big Ten Tailgate Party. The 10K and 5K races return to Soldier Field on Saturday, July 25^th, with Special Olympics Chicago participating as the charity partner for the third straight year.

The course begins on the Soldier Field campus and takes runners down Chicago’s lakefront. The finish line integrates into the wildly popular Fan Fest & Tailgate Party, so runners will be greeted by cheering spectators as they cross it. Not to mention, runners will also be accompanied by BTN talent, former Big Ten greats, and school cheerleaders and mascots. Who could pass up the chance to meet their favorite Big Ten Mascot? Oh, and then there are the BTN waterslides, a fan favorite, at the course and Tailgate Party. Perfect to cool off after a long run!

As if you needed another reason to join one of the fastest growing 10K’s in the country, this year Fleet Feet Sports-Chicago is offering a $20 voucher toward any purchase in one of their six Chicagoland retail locations to each of the first 1,500 adult runners who sign up for the race. Fleet Feet Sports is producing the race for the fourth straight year and managing all aspects of the event in 2015.

Benefits and prizes include: Participation by top area runners, as well as many former varsity student-athletes from Big Ten schools; Awards and cash prizes to the top five male and female 10K finishers overall; Cash prizes for top male and female runners who are also alumni of a Big Ten University; Prizes to most-spirited runners through festive costumers and school-inspired accessories; A commemorative medal for every finisher of the 10K or 5K featuring a new design for 2015.
