Share The Health In Chicago February 27, 2012 Dr. Dena Mendes is a five-time cancer survivor and the author of the new book, A Survivor’s Guide to Kicking Cancer’s Ass (Hay House, Nov 2011). A true health advocate, she is also a Naturopathic Doctor, licensed health coach, certified yoga instructor, pranic healer, professional holistic chef, and a motivational speaker who inspires audiences with her riveting and candid anecdotal stories. It’s a ballsy move to look in the face of cancer and say, “I’m gonna kick your ass!” yet Dr. Dena Mendes did just that, and now she inspires others through their own health awakening journey’s. Dr. Dena has successfully treated health issues ranging from chronic fatigue, cancer, fibromyalgia, skin disorders, ulcers, diabetes, and more. She is also the founder of the not-for-profit Pink Foundation in Chicago—an organization whose mission is to educate people facing health challenges with alternative holistic support.
