The Lynn Sage Foundation Associate Board Presents The Second Annual Summer Toast

After a brutal winter, summer is finally here, and there’s no better way to welcome Chicago’s favorite season than by toasting to it!

This Friday, May 16, The Lynn Sage Foundation Associate Board will host their second annual Summer Toast at The Underground Chicago from 8-10pm.

The Lynn Sage Foundation was founded in honor and memory of Lynn Sage, a beloved mother, daughter, wife and native Chicagoan who tragically died at the age of 39 as a result of her battle with breast cancer.  The family of Lynn Sage has been raising money for local breast cancer research since soon after Lynn’s death in 1984, and is dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer in Lynn’s honor.

To achieve their goal of discovering a cure for breast cancer, The Lynn Sage Scholars Program offers $100,000 per year for a maximum of two years to talented researchers in the early stages of their careers.  By supporting gifted and committed physicians at key points in their research careers, The Lynn Sage Foundation is helping to position these professionals for a lifetime of work in the field of breast cancer research.

The Second Annual Summer Toast will be held at The Underground Chicago at 56 W Illinois St on May 16 from 8-10pm and is generously sponsored by Goldberg Kohn LLC, Mesirow Financial, SiteX Group, and Bump Club Chicago. Tickets are available for $45 in advance and $50 at the door, and will include two drinks and passed appetizers by Rockit Bar and Grill. Raffle prizes will include Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, and Cubs tickets, salon and spa gift cards, fitness studio memberships, Chicago Blackhawks autographs, and much more! The Summer Toast sold out last year, so be sure to buy your tickets before Friday!
